Its open sample window supports removal of the collected soil without a liner. This tool can be useful when a laboratory sampling plan calls for several consistent cores from a garden area, but the laboratory must still establish sampling depth, locations, mixing, and submission requirements. The product's overall length is not an instruction to sample the entire 21 inches. Before choosing it, consider the actual soil condition, working posture, and whether your laboratory has material requirements for the analytes being tested.
