The eighteen-by-twenty-nine-inch Jardin Half-Round supports are a clump-support option rather than a full horizontal grid for a cutting bed. Gardener's Supply specifies solid quarter-inch round steel with a powder-coated, hand-painted finish. Each selected support is eighteen inches wide, twenty-nine inches high, and nine inches deep, with an approximate installed height of twenty-three inches. That installed figure is the useful comparison when deciding where the rail will meet the plant. A pair can address flopping growth from different sides while preserving access, but placement should follow the actual clump rather than a perfectly symmetrical arrangement. Insert supports carefully around established roots, ideally before stems collapse into a tangle. They are best considered for medium-scale perennial or flower clumps that fit the stated envelope, not as a guarantee that a tall, heavy, wind-exposed plant will remain upright without additional planning.
