These Medium Easy Fleece Jackets use a bag-like format with an integral drawstring, making them a different choice from a row-cover sheet or low tunnel. Haxnicks specifies 35-gram-per-square-meter polypropylene fleece and dimensions of 80 centimeters wide by 1 meter high for each medium jacket. The manufacturer's selected pack contains three jackets. Before buying, compare those flat dimensions with the whole plant's shape and the fastening point; width is not a promise of the diameter of a rigid enclosed frame. The jacket format is most convenient when an individual plant is awkward to drape with loose fabric but still fits comfortably inside. Avoid compressing fragile growth simply to close the drawstring. The manufacturer says the fleece admits light and moisture, but the gardener still needs to inspect conditions and determine whether moving a tender container to a suitable shelter would be more reliable for the forecast.
