Before choosing it, reserve the installation space on the planting plan and check whether the lid will remain easy to reach after nearby plants mature. The surrounding bed conditions and a suitable worm-feeding routine still matter; burial does not make the system maintenance-free. Consider it when you specifically want composting integrated into a bed and can inspect it regularly. Do not equate the container's total volume with weekly processing output or assume it provides a complete nutrient plan for the surrounding crops.
