Pothos Cuttings: Find the Node and Choose the Plant You Want to Grow
Choose node-bearing pothos cuttings, a rooting route, and a trailing or climbing destination before cutting up a long vine.
Read the guideMossify / Houseplants
Mossify's Original Bendable Moss Pole uses a galvanized-steel frame, a burlap inner layer, and a moss exterior, with a stone base that must fit inside the planting arrangement. The 30-inch option includes seven floral pins, and the manufacturer lists a pole diameter of approximately 1.6 inches. Its distinguishing feature is the ability to shape the support to a climbing plant's route rather than force every stem onto a straight vertical stake. That can be useful during a planned repot, when the base can be positioned without repeatedly probing through established roots. Treat the full listed length as the product length, not a guarantee of the height left above the medium. A moss surface also introduces a maintenance choice: whether and how it will be moistened without keeping the root ball wetter than intended. This is the Original model with a stone base, not the thinner, differently configured products sold under similar Mossify names.

The stone base must fit the pot and root arrangement without forcing a poor planting depth.
Maintaining the moss surface adds a task separate from watering the root ball.
Support alone does not guarantee larger leaves, fenestration, or aerial-root attachment.
Original, THIN, coir, and other pole variants should not be treated as interchangeable.

Loosely securing growing stems to stakes or trellises when cut-to-length ties and repeated adjustment are more useful than fixed loops.
