Houseplant Window Distance: Compare Daylight Where the Leaves Will Sit
Choose a plant position by actual daylight, obstructions, and seasonal use of the room rather than a fixed number of feet from a window.

The black Vita is a 20-watt, warm-white grow bulb designed around an E26 base and a PAR30 body. Soltech lists a 3000 K appearance and a photosynthetic photon flux of 25.95 micromoles per second, giving more useful context than an incandescent-equivalent wattage label. Its appeal is a focused plant-light installation that also looks compatible with a lived-in room. That does not remove the need to check fixture fit: the manufacturer lists a one-pound bulb and a body about five inches long, so a small decorative socket or enclosed shade should not be assumed suitable. Vita is offered with different beam options; verify the selected optic and its placement guidance before purchasing or copying a setup photograph. For a single plant or compact group, begin with the exact model's instructions, evaluate edge coverage as well as the center, and keep duration separate from adjustments to distance or dimming.

The one-pound bulb requires a suitable fixture and adequate physical clearance.
Vita's optic options have different placement uses; confirm the selected beam.
PPF is total output, not a measurement of the light reaching every leaf.
A single bulb is not a whole-room coverage guarantee.
